Fabrics? Patterns? Trends? Hello, fashion world! The one industry I don't think I've EVER considered myself working in.
Well, here we are.
If you had told me during my Bachelor’s in Law that just eight months after graduating, I’d be living in London—on my own—studying for a Master’s in FASHION Business, I would’ve laughed. How did that even happen?!

It's not that long of a story (luckily).
At the start of 2023, in my final year of law school, I was set on becoming a medical malpractice attorney. I even spent time job-shadowing at a law firm that mostly handled family and liquidation cases.
Let’s say… I saw things I could never unsee. Every day, I’d come home to my partner saying, “We’re never getting married, and we’re never having kids.”
So yeah, safe to say those three months completely changed my perspective. I’m a sensitive person, and dealing with such heavy, negative cases every single day took a toll on me. My personal life, my mental health—it was just too much.
And so, cue the identity crisis!
Like most people who realise they’re on the wrong path, I had a full-on panic moment. What now?! I started researching, trying to figure out what I wanted to do. And if you’ve ever had to decide on a degree or a job, you know how insanely difficult this question is. The only thing I knew for sure? I wanted to work for myself.
A Master’s was already in my original plan, so I thought, what if I simply shifted it from medical law to business? Many (many) hours of brainstorming later, I realised something—
I want to start my clothing brand.
I was constantly disappointed by the options in stores, and I knew I wasn’t the only one. That’s when I found a degree that perfectly blended fashion and business—a program where I could spend my time building my business plan while getting advice from industry professionals. Oh, and it was in LONDON.

Of course, I was terrified. But I also knew I’d regret not taking the opportunity.
Fast forward to 9 months post-law degree…
I packed everything I could fit into three airport bags and made the move.
I arrived with exactly 0% fashion knowledge. But every single day, I’m learning something new, and I’m falling more and more in love with the industry.
So what’s next?
As I go along, I’ll be sharing insights, experiences, and interesting things I learn about fashion and entrepreneurship.
But for now…I’m pouring all my energy into getting my prototypes ready before I finish my Master’s. I don't want to spoil anything, but keep an eye out, cause they're going to be AMAZING !!
I found some baby photos recently and completely forgot that I used to be a 'stylish little diva' walking around the house in my mom's skyscraper heels, gripping my pink Barbie phone and lip gloss like a true fashionista... I guess the signs were always there. ;)

Stay tuned to see more of my beginner fashion entrepreneurship journey and how I take on starting my brand! Yes, I know I'm just an ambitious and hard-working girl with a big dream, but it's a dream that I know has the potential to make the world a better place, and therefore, I wholeheartedly believe in it. <3

Love the hair in the pic. 😉
So excited for you!! ❤️
